Born on 3rd May, 1967 at Shimla. Passed Matriculation Examination from Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education in the year 1983 with Ist Division. Passed B. Sc. (Non-Medical) from Government College, Shimla in the year 1988, passed M. Sc. (Maths) from G.K.U. (U.P.) in the year 1991. Passed L.L.B. from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla in the year 1994. Enrolled as an Advocate with District Bar Association, Shimla in the year 1994. practiced there in Criminal, Civil and Revenue matters till 1998. Remained counsel of HRTC and Department of Health, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh for District Court Shimla. Appointed as an Assistant District Attorney, Department of Home, Government of Himachal Pradesh in the year 1998 and was posted as such at Mandi. Selected in Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service in the year 1999 and posted as a Sub Judge-cum- Judicial Magistrate Ist Class at Amb (District Una), Dharamshala (District Kangra), Chamba (District Chamba), Shimla Court No.2 and 3 (District Shimla).Promoted as a Civil Judge (Sr. Div.) on 19th July, 2006 and worked as a Civil Judge (Sr. Div.) at Shimla, Theog (District Shimla), Sundernagar Court No. 1 (District Mandi), Poanta Sahib Court No. 1 (District Sirmour). Remained posted as Chief Judicial Magistrate Chamba w.e.f. 7th April, 2012 to 11th April, 2013. Remained posted as an Administrative Officer, Himchal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Shimla w.e.f. 12th April, 2013 to 23rd December, 2013. Also looked after the work of Administrator-cum-Assistant Coordinator, Main Mediation Centre in The High Court of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla w.e.f. 5th August, 2013 to 23rd December, 2013. Remained posted as a Civil Judge (Sr.Div.)-cum-CJM, Kangra at Dharamshala w.e.f. 26th December, 2013 till 29th September, 2014. Promoted as Additional District and Sessions Judge on 25th September, 2014 and joined as such on 30th September, 2014 at place Chamba. Remained posted on the same post at place Solan w.e.f. 5th August, 2015 to 27th December, 2018 and at place Nahan w.e.f. 28th December, 2018 to 2nd August, 2021. Remained posted as Registrar (Administration) and also looked after the work of the Registrar (GAD) cum I.T. in the High Court of Himachal Pradesh w.e.f. 3rd August, 2021 to 18th October, 2023. Presently posted as District and Sessions Judge (Forests), Shimla w.e.f. 19th October, 2023.
