Sh. Davinder Kumar

Born on 15th May, 1966 at village Batal, Tehsil Arki, District Solan, H.P. Passed matriculation examination from Govt. Senior Secondary School, Arki in the year 1982 and did graduation from Govt. Degree College, Sanjauli (Shimla) in the year 1986. Did L.L.B. from H.P. University in the year 1989 and LLM from Kurukshetra university.

Enrolled as an Advocate in the year 1990. Practiced in Civil and Criminal matters in Court at Arki, District Solan for about 6 years. Appointed as Sub Judge-cum-JMIC, in the year 1996 and remained posted as such at Una, Dalhousie and Baijnath. On promotion joined as Civil Judge (Sr. Division) at Baijnath and remained posted as such Civil Judge (Sr. Division) at Indora in Kangra District and also remained posted such at Dehra and thereafter in November, 2009 posted as CJM, Sirmaur till June, 2012.

Promoted and appointed as Presiding Officer, Fast Track Court ( Addl. District and Sessions Judge), Una and Joined the same post in June 2012 and remained posted there upto April 2014. Joined on 25.04.2014 as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Court No II, Kangra at Dharamshala and also remained posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Court No. I till 03.08.2015.

Thereafter, remained posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Court No.-I, Una w.e.f. 11.08.2015 to 27.01.2016. Promoted as District and Sessions Judge and posted as President, District Consumer Forum, Una on 27.01.2016 and remained as such till 01.12.2018. On transfer assumed the charge of District and Sessions Judge Sirmaur at Nahan on 03.12.2018 till 04.08.2021 and thereafter District and Sessions Judge, Bilaspur and remained as such till 03.12.2021. Thereafter, on transfer assumed the charge of District and Sessions Judge, Kullu from 08.12.2021(F.N.) till 28.05.2024
On transfer assumed charge as District & Sessions Judge, Forests Shimla on 03-06-2024 till 17.10.2024. On Transfer assumed charge as District and Sessions Judge, Shimla w.e.f 17.10.2024
